Our main goal is to maintain and enhance a sense of belonging for all citizens by encouraging participation and ownership in the planning, development and implementation of our community’s recreation programs and services. Recreation, by definition, is administered to be affordable and offer opportunities for everyone to participate and preserve a sense of pride and community spirit.

- Assessment of community and local organizational needs, consultation, facilitation, referrals, resources, evaluation, and planning services

- Liaise with Regional, Provincial and Federal Governments and Agencies

- Meet with facility user groups to deal with concerns and issues and prepare for the season
- Assist with tournaments and recreational projects

- The aquatics program revolves around the Harbour Pool, a functional 6-lane leisure pool suitable for lessons, games, competitive swimming and recreational fun

- Ensure the facility always reflects a high standard of cleanliness, focusing on a positive and supportive approach with customers & fellow staff
