Youth and Family Service identifies and addresses youth, young adult, and family social issues in the community through direct service and/or in partnerships with other social agencies. 

Specific service areas include the following:
  • Education and awareness presentations on youth and family social issues, and on local resources to students, parents, social agencies, businesses and the public within a variety of community settings.
  • Short-term solution focused intervention, support and advocacy in an outreach capacity to youth, young adults or families at risk.
  • Resource for local youth and family programs.
  • Support for teens to pursue areas of leadership, community opportunities, education, life skills and social events.
  • Establishing connections between the youth and the community.
The Youth and Family Coordinator also oversees the Youth Action Club; comprised of youth 12-18 years of age. In addition to being involved in many fun activities, the Youth Action Club works in areas of youth advocacy, volunteerism, programs and special events.
