On July 1, 2007, the City of Fort Saskatchewan opened it's new Off Leash Dog Park for pet owners and our four legged friends to enjoy!
The Park features an enclosed and secure play area where dogs are able to run free but still be under supervision of their owners. The area is approximately 2.5 hectares or over 6 acres in size and includes park benches, garbage receptacles, pick up after your dog bags and plenty of open space. Owners are asked to follow some very basic rules that will be posted at the site including picking up after their dog.
The Park is located just off 83 Avenue in the Eastgate Industrial Park - not far from the Recycle Station. Street side directional signage will be posted to direct traffic to the site. The Park will be open from 6 am to 11 pm each day - the same hours as all other City Parks.
