The Shell Theatre and the Alberta Lottery Fund Art Gallery Need You!
The Dow Centennial Centre has numerous opportunities for ADULTS! Get involved with the Shell Theatre or the Alberta Lottery Fund Art Gallery located in the Sherritt Cultural Pavilion!
Shell Theatre:
All Front-of-House volunteers for the Shell Theatre alternate between the following positions:
Ticket Taker: Ticket takers collect tickets as people enter a performance into the Shell Theatre.
Usher: Ushers will be knowledgeable of the Shell Theatre seating and will assist patrons to their seats. They may also handout programs and seat latecomers.
Coatcheck Attendant: For a performance or event, the Coatcheck Attendants will assist with the hanging of patrons coats and distribution of claim tags.
Access Control: At times the entrances and exits into the Sherritt Cultural Pavilion or backstage area will be monitored by Access Control.
Alberta Lottery Fund Art Gallery:
The Art Gallery is open every Thursday and Friday from 11 am to 2 pm and during major theatre performances. The Gallery is run by our volunteers! These individuals open, close and monitor the gallery and welcome patrons who come to view the latest exhibits. A relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere, this is a great way to get involved.
